Braided HDMI 2.1 Cable 8K Ultra HD 48Gbps HDR 3D

Recently, I purchased a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" monitor and connected my work laptop, a MacBook Pro 2023 using a spare HDMI cable I had in the house. I set the resolution to 5120x1440 (monitor's default) but the picture was blurry and garbled in the middle and edges. I tried several other HDMI cables I had and the same thing (or worse).After doing some research, I realized I needed a proper, 8K certified HDMI cable, so I purchased this one. This cable worked PERFECTLY! My MacBook Pro has an HDMI port, as does the Samsung Odyssey G9. I needed to use the HDMI port on the monitor because the DisplayPort (DP) was already taken by a PC gaming rig and I did not watch to connect/disconnect the cables each time.IMPORTANT: One thing to remember is to make sure you set the HDMI on your monitor to HDMI 2.0 (not the older HDMI 1.4). Using 1.4 will limit your resolution to 3840x1080, but setting it to HDMI 2.0 will allow the screen's full resolution, at 5120x1440.On the Samsung G9 do the following:, Menu -> System -> Input Port Ver. -> 2.0Excellent quality product, very happy with it!
