Concentrateur USB 3.0 4 en 1 Noir Ultimate - Vitesse de transfert de 480 Mbps

My iMac only has 3 USB-A ports and I often find myself having to switch out one USB flash drive in order to use another. This USB hub was just the type I was looking for. Quick and easy to use with basic functionality and a low price. My one disappointment (for which I am deducting one star) is that the description in the listing led me to believe the cord was 4 feet long, but the one I received was only 30 cm (about 11 inches). The unit is made of plastic and is very light. This is fine for my basic needs, but if you need something where speed specs are critical and build quality and durability are important, I’m not sure I’d be confident that this would be the best choice. The blue light is a nice touch, although it would be nice if it also had a power off switch.

Pretty well weighted down and the blue light is nice and bright. It has like one “outdated” usb port at the bottom or on one end. it goes from the highest speed port usb version 4 down to usb 1.Id be fine if it were just usb 4, 3 , 2 and another 2. Usb 1 still works of course plugging in a wired cabled mouse or wired mouse but this was late 90s tech and it’s all newer tech now.

I needed a replacement hub for my classroom, and this works well so far. I would like it if it was a bit slimmer in shape, though the extra size perhaps allowed the engineers to design the internal circuitry well, with a little space where needed to help keep things cool. Perhaps that bodes well for the potential long term use of this hub.

What separates this mini-hub from others in the same size range is that this one stacks the outlets vertically rather than laying them horizontally. This means that if you have a USB cord with a wider/larger plug, it won't interfere with the plugs next to it. Never thought of this aspect until I got a different hub and couldn't plug in 4 USB flash drives because one was a bit wide. Lesson learned.Lightweight, easy to attach and use. Recommended.
